Robert George died in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia during 2011 at the age of 67 years.

Biography

Robert was born in Nantwich in the third quarter 1918 and was the second son of Robert and Martha to have been named as such.

He was thought to have been in the Grenadier Guards at Wakefield, Yorkshire and met and married Hilda McEwan there during the third quarter 1940. Hilda was serving in the WRAC at that time.

They lived in Nantwich for a time as Hilda was known to have been a cook at the Crown Hotel in Nantwich.

They are also thought to have lived in Yorkshire as their son Robert George was recorded to have been living in Yorkshire at the time of emigrating to Australia.

Robert and Hilda emigrated to Australia some years later to join their son.
