Percy was born during the
last quarter 1892 in Nantwich and was living at
21 Vauxhall Cottages, Nantwich at the time of
his baptism on 9th Nov 1892.
He is shown living
with his parents at 27 Albert Street, Nantwich
in 1901 at the age of 9 years.
By 1911 he was shown as a
General Servant on a farm - The Coronerage,
Broomhall near Nantwich - at the age of 18
years.
He is thought to have moved
to the Chester area to join the Army and
sometime later married Ada Smith in Wirral,
Cheshire in the third quarter of 1920.
Percy was in the British Army
during WW1 serving with the Cheshire Regiment
and was recorded to have been awarded a medal
(not sure of which).
He died in the second
quarter of 1944 in the West Cheshire area at the
age of 51 years.
